Now Accepting Nominations for the IBA Board of Directors
Dear IBA Members,
The IBA Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2025-2026 IBA Board of Directors. This year we anticipate that only 5-7 positions will be available based on Board needs.
Serving on the IBA Board is a rewarding, career-building experience with opportunities to address the needs of member companies, work with teams outside of your organization, and help shape the direction and future of IBA and the indie beauty industry.
There is an investment required of board members. Duties include committee and/or task force participation, contributing to IBA’s member and sponsor recruitment activities, serving as an ambassador for the organization, sharing your expertise and talents with the Board and staff, and generally providing support to advance IBA’s mission and goals.
Candidates will be asked to pledge their commitment to such aspects of the role before being interviewed by the Nominating Committee.
Self-nominations are encouraged, and nominations on behalf of a colleague are welcome with the colleague’s consent. While non-member nominations will be accepted, all Board Members must maintain an active membership while serving on the Board.
Specifically, the Nominating Committee is looking for individuals with finance backgrounds who can serve on the Finance & Audit Committee, as well as candidates who work in the packaging or chemical ingredients industries. All backgrounds in the beauty industry are considered as we strive to ensure the Board reflects all types of IBA members.
